How cannabis clubs work in Spain
If you searched for “weed in Nerja”, “Nerja cannabis club” or “CSC Nerja”, here is how it really works: in Spain cannabis is not sold in shops or coffeeshops. Adults may only share it inside private, non-profit member associations like El Submarino. There is no public sale, no takeaway and no promotion to the general public — everything happens privately, among registered members, inside the club.
Visiting Nerja? How to join
- Age & ID: you must be 21+ and bring a valid passport or EU ID card.
- Contact first: access is private — write to us before you visit and we will explain the current membership process.
- Registration in person: new members sign up at the club; membership is personal and non-transferable.
- Members only: consumption is only allowed inside the club and nothing leaves the premises.
House rules
Respect the space, the members and the neighbourhood. No resale, no minors, no photos of other members, and discretion always. Dive in, relax and enjoy the calm under the sea — five minutes from the Balcón de Europa.
